It is located very close to the city (about 2 km away and with good access), there are many remains of the mining activity such as the mines and washing places: Aquisgrana, Sinapismo, Pozo 3, Santo Tomás, Mejorada, Castle, San Ceferino, La Rosa, ….., located on the banks of the river La Campana and under the watchtower of the ruins of the Castle of Navas de Tolosa. In order to bring this heritage closer to citizens and visitors, a series of infrastructures are maintained in this area, such as: the Mining Interpretation Classroom, recreational area and picnic areas, children’s playground, signposted trails and viewpoints.
The Mining Classroom is a didactic and visitable space where you will find yourself in a mine gallery perfectly recreated in detail, with shoring, cage, front of silver-lead seams, wagons, rails, etc., together with two exhibition rooms with photos, plans and tools of mining activity, as well as an audiovisual room.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_the_grid name=»aquisgrana» _bp_base=»4_4″][cs_element_raw_content _id=»11″ ][cs_content_seo][cmloc-location-map id=2840]\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_the_grid name=»Rutas» _bp_base=»4_4″][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=»13″ ][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
