The work of the Albacete-born Lauren García, it was inaugurated on 18 May 2007. It is located on the right-hand side of the road to Navas de Tolosa, at km 266 of the AIV motorway. The sculptural ensemble is a tribute to the memorable battle. In the foreground, in an outpost, we find the figure of the shepherd of Navas, who historiography attributed as Martín Halaja, who is showing the Christian troops the way to avoid the dangerous pass of La Losa. He is followed by three naked human figures that seem to emerge from or are supported by the earth itself, bearing the coats of arms of the three kingdoms of Castile, Aragon and Navarre.
